How to Join Asteria Skyblock

A short, no-nonsense guide to joining the server, claiming an island, and finding your way around.

First connection

Add the IP, join spawn, claim your island.

    Get Minecraft Java 1.21.8

    Asteria runs on Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.8. Make sure your account is on Java, not Bedrock or Pocket Edition.

    Open the Multiplayer menu

    Launch Minecraft, go to Multiplayer, then Add Server.

    Enter the server IP

    Use play.asteriaskyblock.com as the address. Give the server any name you like - we recommend "Asteria".

  4. 04

    Join and claim your island

    Connect to the server, accept the spawn welcome, and run /island create to get started. The starter quests will guide you through the first hour.

Troubleshooting

Server not showing up? Double check the IP for typos. Some launchers hide the address - try removing and re-adding the server entry.

Outdated client? If your Minecraft version is older than the server requires, the client will refuse to connect. Update Minecraft to Java 1.21.8 and try again.

Connection timed out? The server may be restarting. Wait a minute and try again, or ask in the Discord #support channel.

Bedrock or Pocket Edition? Asteria does not currently support Bedrock. We may revisit this after Season One.
